What is good sleep?
There are many different opinions about the purpose and function of sleep and what constitutes “good sleep”. To work out what good sleep means for you, try simply asking yourself what life is like when you don’t get the sleep you’d like.
Sleep serves a vital function in terms of our physical and mental health. Research has shown that lack of sleep can negatively affect concentration and performance at school and work, as well as our ability to function emotionally.
For some people, a lack of sleep may be due to a lack of
opportunity and for others it may feel that sleep is simply out of their control. Our priority is to provide you, our learners, with the expert knowledge and experience you need to resolve your sleep issues and ensure that you achieve the best state of (sleep) well-being possible.
